Project Ocean is Selfridges’ campaign and long-term commitment to the prevention of global over-fishing.

For the launch of the concept all of the Selfridges UK stores went fish crazy. In-store collateral included external and internal signage, window graphics, food hall branding, fish products branding, in-store restaurants and even a bucking Whale Rodeo. Printed collateral included a pocket-sized fish guide and a sticker invitation for the campaign’s launch party.

We also designed the identity and van design for The Happy Catch. Travelling across the UK, it served sustainable mackerel baps, the tasty alternative to cod and chips.

At the beginninng, the campaign generated £120,000 in fundraising, enabling a 50 hectare Selfridges Marine Reserve in the Philippines to be created.
